Burrebrede (Scottish shortbread)

Scottish Recipe Ingredients:

1/2 cup superfine sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
3/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups unbleached universally handy flour
1 cup margarine, relaxed

Scottish Recipe Instructions:

Preheat the broiler to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, allspice and salt. Partition into halves, and put one away. Add the flour and spread to the next half, and mix until mixed. It ought to be marginally grainy.
